Q: I don’t have the login information to your new site!
A: Please contact clientservices@illuminata.com for assistance and a password reset.
Q: I can see some, but not all Illuminata reports. Why?
A: We understand that unless you can read our work, you cannot fully appreciate our point of view, or our capabilities. Therefore, this web site offers several levels of access to our visitors and registered users:
- Unregistered Visitors are able to read HTML versions of selected Perspectives and abstracts of other works.
- Registered Users are able to read selected Perspectives and other works online, request personally licensed PDFs (when they are available), post comments, and to be notified via email or RSS when a new work is published. Abstracts of subscriber works are also available for viewing. (You can register at the top box to the right.)
- IT Professional Subscriptions (For End-Users)
- IT Industry Subscriptions (for Vendors)
- Press Access. Verified members of the working press can register to recieve free access to all Illuminata Perspectives and Insights, and may quote from them, as long as it’s done in context, with attribution. Also, when you are working on a story you may contact any of our experts by email or phone for comments. Identify yourself, the publication you are writing for, the topic to be discussed, and your deadline. We will make every effort to address your questions in a timely manner, but cannot guarantee immediate availabilty.
Q: Can I get a printed copy of a report?
A: Where a printable version of a work is available, Registered Users and Subscription Clients just have to click the Adobe Acrobat icon next to a title and a personally licensed PDF file will be immediately emailed to them. Please contact sales for broader rights.
Q: Can I share a licensed copy of a work sent to me by Illuminata?
A: Personally licensed copies of our works are licensed to the Registered User whose on the document. Subscription Clients have broader rights and should refer to their log-in Account Page for rights specific to their subscripton, or contact Illuminata client services.
Q: Can I ask an Illuminata expert a question?
A: Registered users can post messages at the end Perspectives and Insights that are available to them. The author, at their discretion, will reply to questions that are ‘general interest’ in nature. Subscription Clients can ask our experts private questions, and can view additional Perspectives and Insights postings.
Q: I submitted a comment. Why isn’t it showing up?
A: Registered users can posts comments, but your first comment must be approved by a site adminstrator. Sorry for the delay, but spam is an industry-wide scourge.
Q: Where are the RSS feeds?
A: Several syndication formats are available: RSS version two, RSS version 0.92, and Atom. They feed the same data, albeit in different formats. Take your pick. We do advertise our RSS links inside our home page’s HTML, but some RSS readers–we’re looking at you, Outlook–have trouble seeing them. Subscribe to these links and it should do the trick.
